Why is Trans Resveratrol brown and not white?

We can assure you that brown is the correct and normal colour of our Trans Resveratrol product, so please do not be concerned if you initially expected it to be white like some other resveratrol products.


Our Trans Resveratrol capsules are brown rather than white because this product uses a 50% extract of resveratrol, meaning it contains a 50/50 mix of resveratrol and the root of knotweed, which is dark brown and gives the capsules their brown colour. Using a 50% extract of resveratrol makes the product far more bioavailable than a 98% resveratrol, which is off-white in colour.


Grape skin is also used as an ingredient in this product and is brown, further contributing to the brown colour of the capsules.
