What is the difference between Systemic Proteolytic Enzymes and Digestive Enzymes?

Modified on Tue, 21 Oct at 11:35 AM

While our Systemic Proteolytic Enzymes and Digestive Enzymes are similar in terms of ingredients, they work in fundamentally different ways and therefore have distinct effects.

Systemic Proteolytic Enzymes should be taken on an empty stomach, allowing them to be absorbed into the bloodstream. Once absorbed, they act as powerful anti-inflammatories and help support recovery and healing.

Digestive Enzymes, on the other hand, should be taken with food so they can enter the digestive tract directly. There, they assist with the breakdown of food and may help reduce symptoms related to food intolerances.

If you take Systemic Proteolytic Enzymes with food, they will function as Digestive Enzymes instead.
